We are delighted to be working with the BBC on their campaign to encourage people to volunteer to support school sport in their local area. The campaign is spearheaded by Olympic Silver Medallist, Roger Black, and launches alongside a three part series, Roger Black’s Olympic Challenge which airs on three consecutive mornings on Radio 4 starting on Monday 26 February 1100-1130.

The series charts Roger’s experiences as he works over a term with a class of twelve year olds in an inner city London school. As he tries to improve their fitness he has to overcome a variety of hurdles including lack of outdoor space and de-motivated pupils.

We will be matching prospective volunteers to opportunities across Wales through the Dragon Sport scheme.
