Community Chest

This is a Sports Council for Wales National Lottery funded scheme designed to make a difference to sport/physical activity locally. The primary purpose of Community Chest is to encourage and support good projects which will create new or improved activities and opportunities that are additional to what is already in place and would not be able to happen without a grant. This means that a sport/physical activity club can apply for funding towards coach education courses for its coaches/volunteers. Coach education is a high priority of this grant scheme. 

Who is eligible?

Organisations can apply, provided they have a bank or building society account in the name of the organisation. This means that the sport/physical activity club will need to apply on behalf of the coaches within a club.
