Employment of coaches

Many of the aspects of employing coaches in your sports club are no different to the general consideration regarding employing staff. This applies in particular to recruitment, interviewing, job descriptions, and terms and conditions of employment. There are some template documents in the Resources panel which you may find useful:

Deployment

If you are a club looking for a volunteer coach it may be worth contacting your NGB to find out if there are coaches who are trained and qualified but who are not yet actively coaching. Your NGB will be able to help your club ensure that the right coach is placed within the right environment.
