CLUB STRUCTURES

When a club is set up the members will need to decide what the best legal structure is for the organisation so that it can be formally recognised, a bank account can be opened in its name, and agreements can be entered into to hire facilities.

This section looks at two legal structures - an unincorporated club and an incorporated club with limited company status. At the end of the section a little information is also provided about registering a club as a charity.
